“Healthy “and “delicious” are two words we all want to see more of together and today is your lucky day because this sweet treat is the perfect hybrid of those great traits! This is also the perfect recipe to sneak some extra nutrition into unsuspecting snackers, as you can add a variety of nuts, seeds and fruit to this recipe.

Ingredients
¼ cup Cashews, chopped
¼ cup Sunflower seeds
¼ cup Raisins
2 tbsp Goji berries
2 tbsp Coconut flakes
2 tbsp Brown rice crisps
2 tbsp Pretzels, broken
2 Dates, finely chopped
100 grams Dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
If you do not have chocolate or would like to make your own, use the following:
2 tbsp Cacao powder
2 tbsp coconut oil/cacao butter
2 tbsp honey/maple syrup

How to Make it:

  1. In a double boiler (or a big stainless steel bowl set on top of a smaller, simmering pot), melt the chocolate or combine cacao powder, coconut oil and honey.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix until everything is melted and combined.
  3. In a parchment paper lined container, spread and flatten the mixture, (For an aesthetic option, sprinkle some coconut flakes and goji berries on top) and pop in the freezer.
  4. Once frozen for at least 2 hours, slice into bars and serve soon after removing from freezer! Leftovers can be placed in a sealed container and will last a few months in your freezer!
